Wall-E QUESTIONS

Alexander Alonso
T.G.A.T.WALL-E

1. Wall-E was written by Andrew Stanton and Pete Docter, also the directors and producers of “Finding Nemo”, and the “Incredibles.”

2. He used several techniques to capture attention, not only to catch the attention of kids but to all ages. To kids it is the friendly robot, to myself; it is the detail and the sound and picture quality. I also really like the scenes in the movie; they give me a feeling of awe of Gods wonderful creativeness. To other adults, it is the story and just a good movie to see on a date or a family event.

3. Some people might see this story as a way of the writer telling people that if they do not take care of themselves, they can be in danger health wise, and also if we don’t take care of the world we live in today we could be ultimately what destroy it.

4. I believe that some of the values that this movie implies are taking care of the earth we live in, taking care of our bodies, being careful of what we allow to control our lives, helping a friend in need, helping a friend accomplish a goal that was set for themselves, and looking for a relationship that goes past the media or material things.

5. To portray what can happen if we don’t take care of our environment and our health.

6. As I was watching the film I thought of many possible answers. One could be a parallel with Noah and the ark. Eve could represent the dove that Noah sent out in search for life, a plant, on the earth, to see if it was time to get off the ark –the Axium. Also, Wall-E could represent Jesus. Wall-E was made to help clean the earth of all the filth, just like Jesus was sent to save the earth from all the corrosion and filth, sin, in this earth to ultimately save our lives. Eve could represent God in a way as well. Wall-E sacrificed everything at the end of the movie, to make sure that Eves, Gods, directive was accomplished. God sent His Son, and Jesus did everything Humanly possible to make sure that Gods will, Gods directive if you would, was done and as a result, He saved the lives of all.
